Graduated with a 2/1. Won the student award for the "Best Student Film Maker." One of my pieces of documentary work was nominated for a London Eye Film Festival Award "Student Short Documentary" category.
Starting off as a camera operator for live media training sessions, the role evolved to being involved in shooting and editing work predominately for Public Health England and Sport England but also being involved in work for Durex, Lexus, and Channel 5.
An incredible experience. I was the first in-house videographer (on paper) they had employed and was thrown into the deep end of researching and establishing systems and processes to manage briefs and schedules. I helped to move the charity forward in its voice, position, and approach to content overall.
Recognising the need to take the next step in my career, HRP has been a fantastic opportunity in presenting new and exciting challenges in filmmaking. It has pushed my motion graphics and cinematography skills to new heights and drawn from my experience in establishing new processes and procedures for video production.
While working for Freuds I set up a podcast studio for them and got to produce the podcast for Global Goal Summit, Innovate Finance, and Sport England. Building on this success I got the opportunity to work with Movember, producing the audio aspect of their podcasts for almost two years involving a number of high-profile talent.
A charity that manages 18 care homes across the UK, the RMBI contacted me to produce promotional videos for each of their care homes. This was a massive project and a great entrepreneurial adventure, calling on me to pull together a small, talented, and dedicated team to get the work done.
